Math Appendix |
Each chapter consists of four parts:
1.) Fill-in-the-blank statements.
2.) Study Questions.
3.) Answers with explanations.
4.) Connecting the Dots.
During
the one-day class, the instructor guides the students through the statements, directing what words to write in the blanks. Explanations and examples are provided, and the instruction is backed up by a Power Point presentation.
The class proceeds systematically through all areas emphasized on the state exam. This is a fast-moving, interesting class with many students claiming they learn more in this one day than they did in their entire Principles Class.
The student is then instructed on their own study time to practice the questions provided on the website. The questions are similar to those on the state exam, but were written to teach the concept. The combined effort of going through the statements in class, answering the questions that correlate directly to the statements, and reviewing the correct answers with explanations as to why they're correct, drives home the concept and prepares the student to pass the test.
Math is covered in the one-day class incidental to the appropriate concepts. The Math Appendix is presented as a resource for those who want to go deeper, but it is not necessary to study the Math Appendix to pass the state exam.
As an added bonus, the fourth part of each chapter is called, "Connecting the Dots," a collection of cheesy little stories designed to provide a context for the important terms and concepts in each lesson. They were designed for those new to the study of real estate to help provide understanding and application for unfamiliar ideas. But frankly, everybody seems to like them, even those with a little more experience.
So welcome aboard! We know you're going to enjoy this learning experience and we wish you the best in your real estate / mortgage career.
ABOUT THE GUARANTEE
The GUARANTEE is good for six months from the date of your first class attendance. The guarantee states that you must go through the online material two times, attend class two times, and fail the test two times to be eligible for a refund.
To repeat the class, just call 714-514-9444 and ask to be placed on the roster for the date of your choice. We ask that you bring the book you received when you attended the first time. A $20 fee will be charged to issue a new book.
To qualify for a refund, you must provide a copy of two Failure Notices from the Department of Real Estate. Email to dwightenorris@yahoo.com.
To qualify for a refund, your name must be in the database and records must indicate that you have done the work online to complete the course. Specifically, this means that you must have completed all of the online study questions, and read the Connecting the Dots stories. If you have gone through the material and have failed the test, your study time was obviously not effective enough, and you need to go through the material again. The test is intended to be challenging, and statewide, less than 40% of test-takers succeed.
We believe this is the finest course available for real estate exam test preparation, but learning is an active process. The student must embrace the information, and make a diligent effort to learn the material. If, after going through all of the material a second time, the student fails the test a second time, we acknowledge that a real estate license may not be a realistic goal for the student, and we will cheerfully process a refund if all of the requirements are met.
To qualify for a refund, you must also have been in attendance the entire day of the live class. You must be there when class begins, and you must be there when the class ends. Notations will be made by the registrar on the roster if a student arrives late and voids the guarantee. A sign-out sheet will be provided by the registrar when class ends, and a student’s name and signature must be on the sign-out sheet to prove full-day attendance.
Any student who cannot provide two Failure Notices from the DRE, has not completed all online study materials twice, or did not attend the live class twice for the full day, is not eligible for a refund.
